Air conditioning installation done properly — the first time

A cheap install is the most expensive kind of air conditioning you can buy. Poor pipework brazing, undersized cabling and guessed heat loads all show up eventually — usually on the hottest day of the year, when refrigerant leaks, compressors trip on high pressure and rooms simply will not cool. We build every system to last 15+ years by combining CIBSE-grade design, F-Gas certified engineering and equipment specified for the actual room, not for the invoice.

Fixed-price quotes with no on-site surprises

Every proposal is a written, itemised, fixed price after a proper site survey — never a phone estimate. You see the equipment model numbers, refrigerant type, pipe routes, electrical scope, condenser location and lift or access requirements before you commit. If the scope changes on site, you approve any variation in writing before we lift a tool. Roughly 92% of our quoted projects complete at the original figure; the other 8% involve customer-requested upgrades, not surprise extras.

What is included as standard

  • Full CIBSE Guide A heat-load calculation for every zone
  • R-32 or R-454B refrigerant pipework, nitrogen-purged and pressure-tested to 42 bar
  • Condenser bracketry, anti-vibration mounts and acoustic assessment for neighbours
  • Part P electrical notification and Part L energy compliance certificate
  • BSRIA BG 49 commissioning with a signed test-and-balance report
  • Manufacturer warranty registered on the day of handover

F-Gas certified engineers — not subcontractors

Every engineer on your job is directly employed, DBS-checked, uniformed and carrying a City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas card. We do not white-label work to a rotating pool of contractors, which is why we can offer a genuine 5-year parts warranty and a 12-month workmanship guarantee that we actually honour. The person who quotes your project is accountable for how it runs on site — and their name is on the commissioning certificate.

Insurance and accreditation

£10m public liability, £5m professional indemnity, REFCOM F-Gas company certificate, NAPIT Part P registration and Gas Safe registration for hybrid systems. Documents are shared with your facilities team or main contractor before we set foot on site.

Lower running costs from day one

A correctly sized R-32 inverter split delivers a seasonal efficiency ratio (SEER) between 6.5 and 8.5 — meaning every 1 kWh of electricity produces 6.5 to 8.5 kWh of cooling. On heat-pump duty, coefficients of performance (COP) sit between 3.5 and 4.5 in UK winter conditions, which beats gas heating on marginal pence-per-kWh once the standing charge and carbon price are included. We size for the actual peak load, not a rule-of-thumb, so units modulate at 20–40% output most of the time — quieter, cheaper and dramatically kinder on the compressor.

Same-week surveys, 7–14 day installs

Inside the M25 we normally survey within 3–5 working days and install within 2 weeks of order. Nationally, allow 7–14 days for install once equipment lands. Evening (18:00–02:00) and Sunday shutdown slots are available for occupied premises at a transparent 10–20% uplift — itemised, never buried in the total.

Residential

Indoor Split Air Conditioning Systems

Wall-mounted split AC units are the most popular choice for London homes and flats. We install ultra-quiet inverter indoor units — as low as 19 dB — that blend cleanly with modern interiors while delivering precise cooling and heating through reverse-cycle heat pump technology.

  • Wall-mounted split systems for bedrooms & living rooms
  • Ultra-quiet inverter operation from 19 dB
  • R-32 refrigerant — lower GWP, higher efficiency
  • SEER ratings up to 8.65 for low running costs

External

Outdoor Condenser Unit Installation

Proper outdoor condenser placement is critical for efficiency, noise compliance and longevity. We mount units on vibration-isolating brackets, run insulated refrigerant line sets through discreet ducting, and ensure minimum clearances for airflow and maintenance access.

  • Vibration-isolating wall brackets & ground frames
  • Insulated refrigerant pipework with UV-protected ducting
  • Noise-compliant placement for flats & terraced homes
  • Minimum airflow clearances to manufacturer spec

F-Gas Certified Air Conditioning Installation

Every engineer on our register holds current F-Gas certification (C&G 2079). This is not optional paperwork — it is a legal requirement for anyone installing, servicing or decommissioning equipment that contains fluorinated refrigerants.

What F-Gas covers

Certified engineers are qualified to handle, recover and charge refrigerants such as R-32 and R-410A. They understand leak-detection protocols, safe evacuation procedures and the legal record-keeping required under EU F-Gas Regulation 517/2014.

Legal requirement

It is a criminal offence in the UK for an uncertified person to work on stationary refrigeration, air conditioning or heat-pump equipment containing F-gases. Using a certified installer protects you from liability and invalid insurance claims.

Environmental protection

Fluorinated gases have a global warming potential thousands of times higher than CO₂. Certified installers use recovery cylinders, vacuum pumps and electronic leak detection to prevent venting and minimise climate impact.

Warranty & traceability

Manufacturer parts warranties and building-insurance policies typically require proof of F-Gas certified installation. We provide a signed commissioning certificate and F-Gas log sheet for every system we install.

Verification

All engineers carry photo ID and current F-Gas cards. You can verify any installer's credentials on the official DEFRA F-Gas register before work begins.
